Auberge du Vin is located within Tupungato Winelands, a private 320-hectare wine community in the Uco Valley, at 1,400 meters above sea level. The property borders internationally renowned wineries and benefits from the alluvial soils, the wide temperature range, and the pure winds from the Andes Mountains that give the valley its distinctive character.

Access is via Provincial Route 89—a paved road winding through poplar groves, irrigation canals, and vineyards—from the city of Mendoza, the wine capital of Argentina. El Plumerillo International Airport (MDZ) receives direct flights from Buenos Aires, Santiago, São Paulo, and Lima.

A few kilometers away are the towns of Tupungato, Tunuyán, and San Carlos, with their farmers’ markets, artisanal cheese shops, and tea houses. Further on, the Cordón del Plata and the Tupungato Volcano (6,570 m) offer high-altitude hiking, skiing in winter, and scenic routes all year round.
