Vineyard Walks
Guided walks through the estate’s working rows of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Noir. Learn the story of high-altitude viticulture from the vines themselves – how altitude, temperature variation, and Andean snowmelt conspire to produce some of the world’s most distinctive wines.

Polo at the Vineyard
One of the very few wine country hotels in Argentina with a private polo field. Lessons and friendly chukkers available for all levels, with equipment provided. A genuinely singular experience, minutes from the lodge.

Vineyard Picnic
A handcrafted basket of valley produce – cheese, charcuterie, seasonal fruit, bread, and a bottle from our cellar – served beneath an olive tree with the Andes as your backdrop. Available on request; coordinated by our concierge.

Vineyard Cycling
Gentle rides along the internal paths of Tupungato Winelands, past working vineyards and ancient Andean irrigation channels. Bicycles provided. Guided or self-guided options available.

Stargazing
At 1,400 metres, with more than 300 clear nights per year and minimal light pollution, the Andean sky above Auberge du Vin is remarkable. Guided sessions with telescope and astronomical narration from the lodge terrace. Available year-round, weather permitting.

Spa and Wellness
Body treatments using botanical ingredients from the valley, sauna, steam room, and a heated outdoor pool with vineyard views. Open year-round.

Private Winery Tours
Curated access to the Valle de Uco’s most celebrated boutique and cult estates, including Zuccardi, Salentein, Clos de los Siete, Domaine Bousquet, Andeluna, and others selected for the quality of their wines and the intimacy of their welcome. Private vehicle and dedicated sommelier – doors that group tours rarely open.

Aconcagua and the High Andes
A full-day private excursion to Aconcagua Provincial Park, home to the highest peak in the Americas at 6,961 metres. The route passes the turquoise reservoir at Potrerillos, the Cordon del Plata mountain range, the village of Uspallata, and the remarkable Puente del Inca natural rock arch, before arriving at the park viewpoint of the great mountain itself. One of the most dramatic day trips in South America, arranged with private transport and a certified mountain guide.

Andean Horseback Riding
Half-day and full-day rides through vineyards, river valleys, and mountain foothills with expert local guides. Options include sunrise rides into the high country and full-moon evening excursions along moonlit Andean trails.

Cacheuta Thermal Springs
A half-day excursion to the natural hot spring spa at Cacheuta, set on the banks of the Mendoza River at the foot of the Andes. Thermal pools, hydrotherapy circuits, and mud treatments. A restorative complement to a day of wine tasting or trekking.

4x4 Off-Road Mountain Safari
Private guided excursions into the Andean foothills by four-wheel drive, reaching viewpoints and landscapes inaccessible by conventional vehicle. Available year-round.

Trekking
Full-day guided hikes in the Cordon del Plata range and the Manzano Historico area, with certified local mountain guides. Routes suited to a range of fitness levels.

Rafting on the Rio Mendoza
Whitewater rafting on one of the Andes’s great mountain rivers, with licensed operators and all equipment provided.

Helicopter Over the Andes
Private panoramic flights above the cordillera and the great wine estates of the valley. An unforgettable perspective on a landscape you have come to know from the ground.

Wine Blending Experience
A hands-on session at a partner estate where guests craft, blend, and label their own Valle de Uco wine to take home. Guided by a winemaker.

Skiing at Las Lenas and Los Penitentes
Winter ski programmes with private transfers and equipment coordination. Las Lenas is one of the finest ski resorts in South America; Los Penitentes offers a more intimate alternative.

Mendoza City
A half-day or full-day excursion to the city of Mendoza, 80 km north: the tree-lined boulevards, Parque General San Martin, the wine shops of Chacras de Coria, and a tasting at a great Lujan de Cuyo estate on the return.

The valley at its most alive. Watch the vendimia unfold, take part in the symbolic grape crush, and taste wine direct from the tanks.

The vines turn gold and copper. Fireside evenings, quiet roads, and the valley largely to yourself.
